COLORING ROCKS WITH CHALK

On an autumn day, the LO and I would have been painting leaves.  Not today because its winter and there's not a lot of leaves laying around.  So instead, we colored rocks!

Here she is gathering her rocks (with the Sunshine all covered with chalk!):

And off she goes to color them:

I wish there were more days like this.

DIY: THANKSGIVING BOOK

This Thanksgiving, I am introducing a new tradition to the LO.  My personal belief is that children remember routine and structure and I want to start a Thanksgiving book that my girls will eventually do every year with the family.  I want this book to teach the LO and her sister about gratitude and being thankful for God's blessings.
