PINCER GRASP @ 10 MONTHS

The LO's pincer grasp has improved a lot over the course of 2  months.   As soon as she started to crawl, we started her on baby cereal and she loved them! and so did our dog!  

This is Chewy... when its time for the LO's snack, he comes to where she is to "scavenge" for food.  He literally waits for the LO to drop a piece of cereal and he eats it.  Pretty smart guy if you ask me.  

Recently though, the LO has perfected the art of putting her thumb and pointing finger together.  Tada!

I normally put her cereal oats apart from each other like 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars' to encourage her to pick them up one by one.  In the beginning, she used her whole fist to pick up a piece and it was hilarious because she would have 3 or 4 of them at a time and she couldn't put one in her mouth. 

Now that she can actually pick up the pieces, I feel bad for Chewy because he hovers around and wait for something to fall but nothing falls anymore! Every now and then, I throw him one just so his efforts are not wasted :)
