PRETEND DIY ICE CREAM SHOP

This is a super late post... Since school is out, I am now able to finally finish this post! For summer, I made an ice cream shop for pretend play.

The kids had so much fun playing this.  I also had fun making it.  I made a banner, a price list and a toppings menu.  I made use of pompoms for the cherries and chocolate chips; buttons for sprinklers and counting bears for gummy bears.  For the ice cream, I used bigger pompoms -- brown for chocolate, light brown for mocha and pink for strawberry.    I also made use of cotton balls to go into the cups for the kids to put their favorite topping on. The cones are made of brown paper.
